| The Methodological Approach |
1. Twinning Partnership Organisation SA - GermanyAbove - Project organisation and mutual split of tasks and information exchange in EnerKey 2. Model Development and ApplicationThe project aims will be reached by a top-down and a bottom-up approach. In the short term, individual pilot projects e.g. in schools, administrative buildings, in the traffic sector will be initiated. These projects will be developed and monitored with the help of decision support tools and models. In parallel an integrated energy model approach will be set up to result in the provision of an integrated data base in order to quantify the effects of taken measures on the urban development and on sustainability indicators in the target region. The project will consider and include - where appropriate - the processes of the ALEP (Advanced Local Energy Planning) methodology. Above - Project set-up and organisation of Modules in EnerKey Above - Use of modular and integrated Energy Planning Tools in the Project The Project ResultsThe project will demonstrate a pathway for the development of more sustainable and self-sustaining structures for the energy sector, in particular in capacity building, the qualification and education of relevant groups and stakeholders and in the establishment of public participation schemes and a robust network. Sustainability indicators will be defined in order to transfer the work into other sectors of the society. |
